What information do I need for a business valuation?
You will need to complete our Valuation Order Form, with as much detail as you possibly can, and provide a set of financial documents including:
FINANCIAL STATEMENTS REQUIRED
- Accountant-prepared Financial Statements for the past 3 years *
*If these are not available, then
- Profit & Loss Statements for the past 3 years
- Balance Sheets for the past 3 years
- Most recent business tax return
PLUS THE FOLLOWING (where applicable)
- Interim P&L and Balance Sheet for the current year-to-date
- Detailed budgets or forecasts (in Profit & Loss format) for next 3-5 years
- Depreciation Schedule (if the business has substantial plant & equipment) or listing of Plant & Equipment (current market value)
- Employee Organisation Chart (if more than 20 employees)
- Any other relevant documents
